Senior Analyst, Marketing Research

In order to accelerate our growth and better support our clients, we are looking for an Senior Analyst, Marketing Research. As an integral part of the team and of all mandates, this person will be responsible for:
― conducting quantitative marketing research projects for the studio’s mandates – developing and programming questionnaires, managing data collection, analyzing results and ensuring project management;
― conducting qualitative marketing research projects (individual interviews, focus groups, ethnography) – developing the discussion and observation guides, facilitating focus groups, and formalizing learning and insights;
― participating in the conduct of market research in various industries and geographic regions (secondary data research), including market potential assessment projects, competitive analysis, trend assessment, etc.;
― collaborating with team members and mentor analysts and interns;
― presenting sections of mandates during client presentations;
― participating on the preparation of proposals to meet the client’s business objectives;
― developing long-term business relationships with clients, drawing on your expertise and the strength of the team carrying out the mandate;
― participating in strategic thinking of the studio’s mandates in collaboration with team members involved in the projects.
We are looking for someone who:
― is passionate about data, numbers and consumer behaviour – both in research and analysis and when formulating subsequent recommendations;
― is rigorous, analytical and detail-oriented;
― is a team player with good interpersonal skills;
― is curious, versatile and agile, with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy.
The ideal candidate:
― holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing or any relevant field;
― holds a master’s degree in marketing, statistics, psychology or any relevant field (strong asset);
― has more than 5 years of professional experience in marketing analysis or marketing research;
― masters tools and techniques of qualitative marketing research and has experience in group facilitation;
― masters the techniques used in quantitative marketing research (regressions, cluster analysis, factor analysis, conjoint analysis, etc.);
― masters statistical tools, such as SPSS or Q, and survey platforms (ideally Qualtrics, or another survey platform);
― has excellent writing and communication skills, in both French and English.
