To strengthen our expertise, we are looking for a Director of Business Strategy. This person will lead mandates focused on strategic planning, export strategy, value proposition development, and positioning, helping our clients achieve their strategic objectives and maximize their commercial success.
More specifically, this person will be responsible for:
— Leading strategic and cross-functional mandates by overseeing the entire process, from methodology development and project kick-off through execution and final delivery;
— Taking ownership of strategic client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and becoming a trusted point of contact throughout the engagement;
— Turning data from our internal expertise, including market research, marketing research, economic studies, and financial analysis, into actionable insights and developing relevant strategic recommendation;
— Leading structured working sessions and conducting one-on-one interviews with market experts to enrich analyses and inform proposed strategies;
— Mentoring team members, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and upholding Habo’s high standards;
— Actively contributing to business development through exploratory meetings, proposal management, and tailoring approaches to meet specific client needs;
— Supporting team members in their professional development, clarifying expectations, and strengthening core strategy skills;
— Contributing to the evolution of Habo’s methodologies, internal tools, and best practices.
We are seeking a future team member with:
— A master’s degree in business administration or an MBA;
— 8+ years of professional experience in strategy (experience in consulting, agency, or professional services environments would be a strong asset);
— Strong knowledge of business strategy concepts and an excellent understanding of marketing and finance functions;
— Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent interpersonal and active listening skills;
— Strong analytical skills, including a solid understanding of quantitative analysis;
— Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously;
— Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
