Business Strategy Director

Our team works on a wide range of projects, ranging from developing strategic plans to optimizing business models, conducting market studies, and validating new products.

In order to consolidate our expertise, we are looking for a Business Strategy Director. This person will lead strategic planning, export strategy, value proposition definition, and positioning projects to achieve our clients’ strategic objectives and maximize their commercial success.

More specifically, this person will be responsible for:

― overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from the development and proposal of methodologies, to project initiation, execution, and final delivery;
― managing client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project;
― conducting strategic analyses based on data from the team’s various areas of expertise (market studies, marketing research, economic studies, and financial analysis) to extract actionable insights and develop relevant recommendations for client deliverables;
― ensuring effective project management by overseeing deadlines, budgets, and project objectives;
― mentoring project team members to ensure clear and relevant deliverables that align with Habo’s quality standards;
― contributing to the continuous improvement of Habo’s methodologies and internal tools;
― actively driving business development through exploratory meetings, proposal management, and tailoring approaches to meet the specific needs of clients.

 

We are seeking a future team member with:

― a Master’s degree or a MBA;
― over 8 years of professional experience in strategy (experience in consulting, agencies, or advisory services is a significant asset);
― a strong understanding of business strategy concepts and a deep knowledge of marketing and finance functions;
― strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and active listening;
― excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously;
― excellent writing and oral communication skills in English (understanding French is a very strong asset).
